Flagship report

Control every day

No. 01 · 2026 · Placeholder

Placeholder. This report summary is placeholder copy written to test layout and tone. It is not published research and makes no factual claims.

This is the planned outline of the flagship report. The report itself is a placeholder; the chapters below describe the questions it will answer, not findings.

Quality systems are tested a few days a year

Most quality systems are tested once a year, by an auditor, over a few days. The rest of the time they are assumed to work. The report sets out how a quality and compliance leader can show, on any ordinary day, that the system is operating within its limits.

Part 2 / The report

Planned chapters

Each chapter takes one part of the quality system, names the evidence it produces in normal operation, and describes how to read that evidence as a signal. Estimates and interpretations are marked as such, and the method chapter states what the approach cannot show.

Part 3 / Chapters

Chapters

  1. 01What a state of control means outside the audit window
  2. 02Signals a quality system produces every day
  3. 03Quality records as evidence of control
  4. 04Effectiveness checks must test an outcome
  5. 05Management review as a control
  6. 06Limits of the method
