What we publish
The State of Control publishes editorial research for quality and compliance leaders in regulated manufacturing on what it takes to be in control every day, not only on audit day: deviations, nonconformities, corrective and preventive action (CAPA), effectiveness checks, audits and management review. We do not recommend products, tools or suppliers.

Sourcing
- Every figure carries its unit, sample, period and source.
- Regulations and standards are named with their clause when cited.
- Interpretation is marked as interpretation.
Standards
- Defined terms are used exactly: nonconformity, deviation, observation and finding are not synonyms.
- Placeholder or illustrative data is labeled on every exhibit that uses it, and is never presented as evidence.
- Imagery is created with AI tools and credited once, in the footer.
- The method behind our exhibits is set out on the Method page.
